>>5635822“What?” he says, unfolding his legs to actually stand on the ground, throwing his other hand forward as well. But whatever he's trying doesn't work, the orb still slowly dropping towards him. The Event Horizon is so massive it has even greater gravity than the others he's done before, pulling the flames and spirals of lava up into itself as it drops towards the strange creature. But then oddly turns to face one of the cameras, addressing it directly. “Watch closely now. This is the good part.”
“What the-? He didn't say that the first time.” Vox says confused, you watching the gremlin man turn back to the attack, taking a single step forward before catching the massive orb with his hands. And your jaw drops as, SOMEHOW, this tiny creature has the raw strength to stop an attack like that. Hell, YOU probably couldn't stop that if you tried, throwing everything you've got at it. And he just catches it? What in the world is your Dad fighting?
“TAKE THIIIIIIIIIS!!” you hear him roar, one of the cameras panning up to him to see your dad launch a SECOND Event Horizon down at the first. Much like Broly had back during the tournament. The two attacks collide, and to your surprise begin merging. They form together, creating a small pinpoint of darkness before an explosion destroys all of the cameras. Then, as it does the view changes to an orbital one, you watching something truly terrifying. You and Vox watch as, from space, the entire PLANET is rapidly consumed. Drawn down into that pinpoint of absolute darkness, along with the orbital camera moments later.
“Woah....” you mutter, stunned. You knew your dad had the power to destroy planets, he'd even cautioned you about doing so yourself. He'd told you the story of how he'd blown up a planet that had an explosive core, the liquid detonating and consuming the world. But this was something on a much bigger scale. He didn't blow Shaar up as much as un-exist it, reducing it to a black hole of nothingness. No doubt destroying that little gremlin man too. And you can still sense his ki, so he's fine. But at least now you know what was going on earlier, and why his energy spiked so incredibly high.
“So, if you do what your father just did and destroy that planet as well, you lose. No questions, no second chances. Understand?” Vox asks, steepling his fingers while resting his elbows on the table after turning back around.
“Of course. No matter how grueling an endurance match she has set up, no matter how many hours I'll be at it, I'll fight fair and power through it.” you reply, Vox seeming surprised for a moment. To which you can't help but smile. “What? That's the only reason this rematch has taken so long, isn't it? She couldn't come up with anything else to wear me down enough for her to win a direct fight.”
