No, what was far more shocking was Konban being able to keep up with her, and not only that, seemingly give her a challenge. You assume she’s holding back, but honestly, the hakuda skill being shown was far beyond your own, so you quite literally had no way to tell.
As the two of them begin to realise you and Ichimi had stopped, they also slow down before coming to a halt and moving over to you. You can see a bead of sweat running down Tsukuya’s brow, and hear the slightest hints of her trying to subtly catch her breath, but Konban looked as fresh as ever, as if he hadn’t even just been fighting.
You resisted the urge to raise an eyebrow at that, simply going back to your first thought before you had seen anything. “So, I was thinkin’ that I wanted ta spar against one o’ you two… But after just seein’ that, I ain’t quite sure that’s a good idea for my health.”

Konban looked away, seemingly embarrassed, while Tsukuya smiled, ruffling his hair. “Konban is very talented. I was surprised he could keep up with me, considering he’s not really had any formal training. There could be a real future for him in hakuda.”
You look back at Ichimi, a grin on your face. “Ya hear that? A real future in hakuda, she says. Konban’s really talented, and I’m like, the best. What can you do, huh?”
