The destruction of Cyber-Shelob’s terrorist masters is celebrated across the region. Shroomy’s victory is short-lived, however. Roughly a day after the defeat of the creature, once it makes it into the Caspian sea with the other Kaiju, it’s blasted on-camera by another beam of The Herald’s light. Onlookers gasp once in horror, then once more in relief when the light and heat clears, revealing the mushroom’s form, good as new.
The battle is brewing, and with this many Kaiju in an already tense area, global militaries hesitate to bomb it further. The nuke against Phantrumpitus has wounded one of their few weapons against the alien, and they’re unwilling to risk harming the other Kaiju and earning their ire. The war rages on.

Ran out of turn titles yet again.
Shelob has been spared! I never got to introduce the mechanics, because all fights were to the death, but I was going to add in a clause before that if you spare a Kaiju, you can place conditions and make orders, like Godzilla being an alpha titan. But since it’s a bit late for that, and it’s just NPCs left, I’ll say that Shroomy gains control over 1 of a respawned Shelob’s actions when it comes back.
