>>5896348The Empire rules over the galaxy with an iron fist. Ruthlessly suppressing any and all dissent. Prominent figures within the empire include Lord Vader, the supreme commander of the imperial armed forces and Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin, Grand Moff of Oversector Outer and the brain behind the Tarkin Doctrine.
Relations with the empire: 40/100 The empire views your planetary government as sufficiently loyal. Though it can do better.
The higher your relation with the empire the more autonomy and positions you are offered. Colluding with the rebels or the underworld might have dire consequences
The Alliance to Restore the Republic
The Rebel alliance is just that, an alliance between various rebel groups to overthrow the emperor and the empire and restore the republic in its place. Although it has at various times successfully raided and defeated the empire at various points in time it largely remains hidden on a few select worlds and fleets located in the outer rim and beyond.
Despite being mainly based in the outer rim, the rebellion has supporters among nearly all classes in the empire. From some aristocrats in the core to the oppressed aliens in the outer rim and more even having sympathisers within the imperial senate and military. Though no one is truly aware of the complete rebel leadership, most would agree that the former senator of Chandrila: Mon Mothma, is the face of the rebellion after evading arrest from the ISB. Other prominent leaders include Garm Bel Iblis, former senator of Corellia and although he has not publicly rebelled: Outgoing Senator Bail Organa of Alderaan, who is to be replaced by his daughter in the next year’s session of the senate. Aside from these big names various smaller movements are also alignmed with the alliance.
The rebel alliance might begin showing interest in your system if it contains what it considers to be vital infrastructure. If you are on good terms with them they might simply buy from you. But if you are a known loyalist or simply not on good terms they might consider raiding or otherwise infiltrating the system to destroy or sabotage the local imperial warmachine.
At present your relations with the rebels is at 30/100 and they consider your system to simply be one of many oppressed by the empire
Rebel interest: The rebels have a vested interest in weakening the empire's military capabilities, as such they will on occasion perform acts of sabotage through local resistance cells or organise hit-and-hype raids on important facilities. While they might seem a nuisance at best if the tables were ever turned one can only wonder what will happen next.
Rebel interest: 0/10 The rebellion considers your homeworld to be of no relevance to their struggle to overthrow the empire or as too deep in imperial territory to be a target.
