Chapter 0
You are the crew. You worked for The Boss.
The party was a setup. It was a plan by Spider, the right hand man, to keep you busy while he took over. The Boss was dead, and Spider killed her. He had to pay.
Chapter 1
With the Boss gone and the number two guy turned traitor, leadership fell to Angela, the Boss's most trusted meathead. Angela, more comfortable in the role of attack dog, let Claire, the heist planner, do the talking and call the shots.
They knew that to stay alive, you would have to go on the offense.
The Jacks, a crew of shakedown hoods, were living large at the fresh nightclub Nebula. The bouncer called you freaks. Wasn't a smart move. You killed a lot of people, grabbed a couple of Spider's money guys, and got some leads. A good start.
Chapter 2
The Dirty Dogs, a biker gang into meth and gun running, had a clubhouse out on the edge of Gatortown. No clues were found, but you fucked their shit up, stole a lot of drugs and guns, and made off before getting pinched, so that's still a win.
Chapter 3
The Niners were low-life street hustlers who found some serious hardware and carved out a piece of chaos for themselves. They held down a neighborhood of stash houses like an armed enclave in the city. It wasn't enough to keep out the crew. In a hidden basement you discovered files on chemical formulas, and the location of an unknown facility.
Chapter 4
The facility was a drug lab, a huge manufacturing plant for the new fashionable narcotic, Haze. The Niners' leadership was here to defend their territory, but that just meant more loot for the crew as they earned a bounty for the leaders' heads. Bags of haze were looted, along with documents for the actual chemical formula. A group of out-of-place ex-Triads provided the next lead.
Chapter 5
By now, Spider's group was calling itself "The Syndicate", and it was clear he spun his web around half the gangs in the city. This included the Great Four, a former Triad associate running out of the Gold Tiger restaurant. When the crew broke in, they found not only an actual tiger, but Spider himself. He was protected by a woman called the Dragon, and they escaped in a car driven by Ray, Angela's old friend(?). The crew sped off in hot pursuit.
Chapter 5.5
A high-octane car chase across the Washington Bridge, pursuing Ray's car while fending off vehicle attacks from vengeful survivors of previous targets. Car wrecks and bodies were spread across the city.
In the end, Spider and Ray escaped, but a wounded Dragon was left behind.
Chapter 6
The crew took the war to a the South Harbor docks. Battling your way through the Marielitos, a gang of Cuban outlaws and ex-cons, you captured two of their leaders and killed the rest. Spider's ship escaped into the bay, but Angela and her friend Mei Lin caught up to it and boarded. They finally had Spider cornered ... until he blew up the ship.
Chapter 7
Now.
