>The derelict apartment complex has been established as a secret base. The best place to hide your money is just beside Houndour, the empty apartment complex. You tell the canine to stay put as you climb through the old fire escape stairs and sneak through the window. The place is almost silent, except for the quiet and subtle noises of the Bug-Types moving around the place.
>You stashed away $8,000>Money on hand: $8,600After a quick visit to your personal secret base, you make your way towards the Pokémon Center.
The place has plenty of newbie trainers like yourself. A good chunk either found a hurt Pokémon in hopes that healing them would be met with obedience. Others roughed them up too much while attempting to catch them without a ball. These guys either asked for assistance or already had a mon lined up for the test but couldn’t use it because of the free-roaming mon restriction.
Houndour as usual, stays away from the building. It keeps growling to some of the trainers around but doesn’t start anything as it is quick to judge that they surpass it in number.
You head to one of the nurses manning the place and explain to her you got a Houndour in need of a medical check, You just picked it up from the street and want to know its general state of health. You warn her that the Pokémon is semi-feral and quite aggressive and because you are undergoing the Trainer Exam you don’t have any Poke balls,
The nurse assures you it’s not a problem. She calls over a Chansey and tells you to lead the way. The moment Houndour spots the nurse and her Pokémon cohort going its way the canine gets uneasy, snarling at the pair, barking violently while leering at them. The nurse stops and tells Chansey to handle the patient with care. The pinkish-round blob happily obliges and gets face to face with your Pokémon, Chansey does her best to appear non-threatening and affable, emoting in a soft, almost motherly tone. But Houndour is having none of that. Once she’s near enough your Pokémon pounces on her and tries to bite into her flesh as hard as it can.
