>>6236790“WOW!” Melanie exclaims, jumping up from her seat. “A talented fighter AND a scholar of the law! Trystain has spared the lives of those two young girls by exploiting a loophole in the rules! Is there a gentle giant that lies within that bloody, monstrous exterior?!”
The crowd, breathing a sigh of relief that they would not have to witness the grisly affair of you executing the Maya, erupt into a frenzy of cheers. As they do so, you feel your vigor returning to you as the poison begins to leave your body by the Wheel’s magic. The two women stare up at you in awe. Though there are still tears in their eyes, there is also a glimmer of reverence. They did not expect to be shown such mercy, and had clearly been anticipating the worst. They continue to stare at you as such, until Klement’s knights cart them out of the cage.
“How’d you know that would work?” Cuthbert asks you.
>“I didn’t. Just a lucky guess, really.”As you bask in the adoration of your newfound fans, their cheers and praise suddenly turn into horrified screams. The cage begins to shake, and you turn to quickly discover the source. A monstrous entity has appeared on the scene. It was nearly the size of the cage itself, green, with hulking muscles and large tusks that protruded from its face. It had only one eye, and its mouth was filled with razor sharp fangs, each one dripping with drool. In its hand, it dragged a large club. It was being led to the arena by chain, each of which were held by several Bergliez knights. There was no mistaking it, this thing before you was a Demonic Beast. A Terror.
>“What is the meaning of this?!”“Meet your fourth opponent!” Klement grins. “Son of Ogre!”
The Terror’s sole eye moves to regard you. It stares intently, as if waiting for you to do something.
>A): Do nothing and wait for the next battle to begin.>B): “What are you looking at, ugly?”>C): “Hello.”
