Time went by, another ten years passed for the Great Crusade. Nothing too much was happening at the numerous fronts with the exception of the front against the creatures now known as the Rangdan.
Information was kept tight on what exactly the Rangdan which TalOS began to think was the right move. Coming from the galactic rim these Xenos were coming in numbers that were not thought possible in the first place and the front had began to extend eastward.
Another Legion, those now known as the Death Guard, were brought to the fore with their expertise of seige Warfare coming to the fore. It was an ever growing encroachment of Xenos that was looking worse and worse with every year that passed.
TalOS did not take the threat lightly for he noted that the planet of Xana was quickly coming closer and closer to the invasion of Xenos. Without a second thought TalOS had Auxilia sent over to the planet and neighboring Legions to form a much surer bastion against what was becoming a very powerful foe.
While information to the masses was tight TalOS was being fed information by the Auxilia. It was stated that these Xenos were prevalent users of mind control which afflicted unaugmented Mortals with ease. Those that were blessed by the Machine God, let them be trans human or augmented, were immune to the majority of these attacks as their bodies were able to fight off what was an infection.
That was not to say there was total immunity. Only the Knights and Dreadnaughts found it easy to move among the hordes in their air tight compartments. Reports were that wounded Astartes had began to rise during the wars.
It was hard to understand but these Xenos were not psychic in nature but instead using some form of Genescience to commit possession. Being a genetor it was not hard to get a sample of the Xenos from the frontline.
What came to his Forge World was a monster of a man. The flesh of the man was ripped and tempered with muscle growth that caused heavy mutation of the body. Luckily what had infected the man was a small cancer sitting at the back of the neck. What caused the infection was no longer present on the lifeform, but the vectors were definitely at the front lines.
>Organize a trip to the front lines for further research.
>We march to protect Xana. Bring the Legion
>We shall wait and see what happens.
