Later that night, you were laying in bed, staring at the ceiling as your mind raced back and forth.
For some reason, you couldn’t calm down. You had the distinct impression that you were forgetting something really important. But, what?
You were making progress in the Chameleon case, and Terminal was supposed to help you hunt the SIlvertongue whenever one of you stumbled across it. Those were your two biggest problems.
Other than that, you still had to figure out whether the Bratva were still on your case, meet with Silvermane’s contacts, help your brother find his missing girlfriend, and pin down Max’s location. Was that everything?
No, wait. You still had that fairy flower thing to worry about. The only things that were on your plate that didn’t feel like a high priority were the jobs that Black Cat dug up, ironically enough. They’d be good for making money, but you could always make money later.
So then, what was it that was bugging you so much!? Did you forget to turn the stove off?
Hmm…
OH, WAIT! Cindy’s schooling! You’d nearly forgotten!
You shot out of bed, snagged your phone with a webline and pulled it into your hand with a lightning fast movement. Immediately, you began researching different schooling options for girls her age.
You’d have to check and see how far along her home-schooling had gotten, but you were sure that she should at least be at the tail end of middle school, or at least a high school freshman by this point. And if not, then you’ll help her study until she reaches that point.
There were a ton of options to choose from, here. Only a few stood out, though.
There was the school that you attended back in the day, Midtown High. You wouldn’t exactly call it prestigious, but it was decent for what it was meant to do. Honestly, the best thing about it were the experiences you had and the people you met along the way. For one reason or another, Midtown seemed to attract weirdos from all walks of life. If there’s any school that can cure any sort of social awkwardness that Cindy might have, then it’s probably Midtown. Getting her accepted should be fairly easy, as well.
If that doesn’t pan out, then you can try for something a little fancier. You heard that Visions Academy has a pretty impressive curriculum. And it isn’t like you couldn’t afford to send Cindy to a private school. You might have to double down on her studies in order to get her to a point where she can enroll without issue, however.
But with how many smart people you’ve surrounded yourself with, you couldn’t imagine that being a problem for either of you. Visions Academy would probably be the best school to ensure that Cindy has a bright future ahead of her, in whatever field she decides to work in.
Aside from those two options, and perhaps a fallback school like Milton Summers, you weren’t seriously considering any other options. Although, you did remember hearing about some "super secret schools" that were most likely bullshit rumors.
