It's pitch black in here. You expected it to be somewhat dark given it's meant to be a freezer, granted. You feel Benjamin wrapping an arm around yours. Well, okay then.
[UNSTABLE] LEAVE. LEAVE RIGHT FUCKING NOW. DO NOT TAKE ANOTHER GOD DAMN STEP FORWARD. GO. GO. GO. GO. GO. GO! GO!
You let out a hiss of agony when your brain starts throbbing. You really wish the voices in your head would shut up for, god, five minutes. Yet as you stand there in the doorway, the biting artificial cold nipping at you, you don't move.
[UNSTABLE] LEAVE. WE DO NOT NEED TO DO THIS. WE CAN DO ANOTHER MISSION AND HAVE FUN ADVENTURES WITH, I DUNNO, THE CORPSE LOOKING DUDE.
The hell is going on? You take in a deep breath and push yourself forward, ignoring the voice screaming desperately at you not to. Benjamin's grip only gets stronger. You really don't want him to do this but you continue forward.
Your foot steps right into a puddle of something. Thank god you got some new boots for this. You stumble around to find some sort of light to turn on in here. You eventually manage to find something that turns the lights on and-
You look down at the ground. There's a big yellow box around the size of your head right next to your foot that's leaking a foul greenish-yellow substance from a hole in the center. Benjamin unwraps himself from you to get a closer look at it.
You decide to investigate the rest of the freezer in the meanwhile.
>16. SUCCESS.You turn back to look at the freezer door. Something about it is rubbing you the wrong way. Now that the lights are on, you feel comfortable closing it with the knowledge you're not going to be stuck in the dark. Closing it shut, you notice something is carved on the back of the door. A series of sigils and weird symbols you can't quite make out. Your brain throbs just looking at it.
[ANOMALOUS ABILITIES] Not just that. There's a yellowish-green ice-like substance inside the swallow cuts of the symbols. If you had to guess, this is what was telling you to stay out. A ward.
There's no reason for that to be there unless there's something hidden inside of here. You start looking around to see what's up with this freezer. You notice that there's another door at the back wall that probably leads to another room. Besides that, all of the space here is empty aside from a few big yellow boxes leaking out the same weird liquid.
Benjamin is holding his chemical analyzer out, testing to see what it is. He looks up at you after it's done analyzing. "This is all A-Energy. All of it. Count how many boxes there are." You do a quick scan of the boxes here. There has to be at least twelve of them, maybe fifteen at the most. "12? 13?
"This is way too expensive for a restaurant to get. Hell, they only NEED one or two to keep this place running for two weeks straight!" Benjamin blabbers on. He dips a finger into the liquid before putting it in his mouth. Wait-
