He did invent Psychic Hoods using Blackstone, I think he'd have the intellect to know how to best use it.
TalOS talks so much like he's not going to survive the HH. I hope he does, or at least some form of him does. I can't see our Paranoid Boy not having like 50 different contigency plans on survival.
I hope his doom and gloom of Talos referencing "I'm not going to survive this" is just a bit of him being cynical on the safe side only because his future vision like the Emperor's ends at the Vengeful Spirit or something. The Emperor thought he would die too, but he lived.
If he lives, he can probably ponder on the problem a lot better with time.
