That or artists who depict the Mars Pattern warlord just have terrible sense of distance and don't know how to add things that cue scale which make the Mars Warlords seem smaller, worsened by the similarity to knights, where the Lucius Pattern is more evident as staggering colossal engine of war.
Even the simple of thing like seeing the little lights on them which indicate windows, and it's easy to see that these are walking skyscrapers of death and destruction.
Imperator does not have this problem on account of having a very obvious cathedral on top of it.
