"Look Aranuel," Ireena says. "I'm genuinely sorry for departing with such short notice," she adds. "I realize I may have been... a little bit rude in how I handled this conversation. Thank you for trusting me."
You still feel uneasy, but you and Ireena bonded on the journey to Vallaki. You can't help but forgive her. After all, it's her safety on the line... you are merely trying to fulfill Ismark's promise. At this point, if this turn of events compromises her safety, it's her fault, not yours.
Vasili stands up and brushes off his coat. "We'd better take our leave now," he says. "Eastward bound."
"Goodbye Ireena," you say.
"May the Morninglord be with you, Aranuel."
"And Kossuth with you."
And... they depart.

You are going to have to make your next decision quickly. If you stay in Vallaki for much longer, things might get complicated. There really are only a couple ways you can go from here, and they are all monumental paths...
This is a very important decision that will drastically dictate the direction of the quest in subsequent chapters.
>Find a way to stay in Vallaki. You need to meet with Lady Fiona Wachter. She clearly wanted something from you, and some divine sense tells you that the fate of this town hangs in the balance.>Go to the Vistani camp outside of Vallaki. If anyone in Barovia has information on your sister, it'll be then. By Kossuth's guiding light, you WILL find her, and you're going to do it immediately.>You need to fulfill your promise to Ismark at all costs. Why is Vasili taking Ireena eastward, back the way you came? That doesn't seem right! Stalk them as they travel.>Settle on another path (specify an alternate course of action for the quest moving forward - be very detailed)
