“We’ll raise the matter with the College.” Kosmas says with a smile, ignoring Stelios’ grumbling. “The existence of these ‘tunnels’ certainly does warrant further investigation. But as of now, I see no reason to disqualify our friends. Congratulations on reaching the top Floor, Tristain and Crowley.” He gestures a hand out, allowing you to pass. “Feel free to take a seat and enjoy the refreshments. Around a half hour remains until the stage’s completion. We may be expecting some more guests. Or perhaps, you may be the last ones to arrive.”
The Yasha take their leave, content with no longer harassing you. Crowley looks beside himself, unable to believe that your quick-thinking had actually convinced these hardened men. You can’t help but shoot him a smug grin. You told the man you were quick on your feet, and you came through! Now then, the aroma of that food was pleasantly inviting.
