A sudden quiet washed over Gauthier’s platoon. He had lost track of the fighting when a fierce assault by Twaryian infantry had smashed directly into the squad he accompanied. Shouts and curses in their language, gunfire, and numerous grenades traded back and forth- Gauthier’s revolver sidearm was empty, though he hadn’t remembered firing it, nor what at. Now, though, the enemy had been repelled. An account was taken of losses- First Squad had been utterly mauled, of course, but besides them, the unit was impressively intact for how much fire they had drawn and the ferocity, if short term, of the fighting.
Around the same time, Lieutenant Ferrari was taking account of what had happened. When the enemy had come closer, he felt a sudden advantage- but they still hadn’t won. Some came close enough to hurl curses, and one of the squads had men who had been bayoneted. It hadn’t been decided until, it seemed, a barrage of tank fire arrived from the flank and sent the Twaryian motorized infantry sprawling into a retreat. Only two of the squads had come out unscathed. Sixth Squad had been completely obliterated, the flank they held overrun with no survivors. First and second had taken some casualties, and Third Squad had been badly hurt. However…they’d won. For whatever that was worth, since this was only the first fight…

There's differences in unit integrity between shooting and movement- the movement ones should be accurate. As said, processing difficulties, though all of your hit points are definitely accurate.
