Since his idea to try overwhelming numbers instead of a single powerful creature, the Beastmaster has been quite busy with creating and training his new army. So much so that he had to make a second Rat King, a gestalt of rats fused through their tails that act as psychic relays to his powers, just so he could be able to command his legions of mutant rats to scour the K-City in search for animals and parts to bring back to the bunker, or the Menagerie as he liked to call it, while also being able to focus on the project.
“Father, let me prove my worth to you, before you waste your time with these inferior beings.”
A voice chirped to him, both in his mind and ears. He stopped for a moment to look to the speaker, a creature that was a fusion of a parrot, dolphin and octopus, swing through the air using it’s ESP powers. He imagined that mixing three animals know for their intelligence would allow the result to have latent esper abilities without having to force some of his will into them, but the results were more then he expected.
Truth is, he found this being odd, he had just begun creating it as few days ago, but now it’s was ready, and acting like it had been trained for weeks, if not months. The Beastmaster suspects that it had something to do with the intrusion he had felt, while his esper powers allowed his to notice more than a simple headache and confusion, but he still did not understand what exactly happened.
“If you are going to keep pestering me during my work, then allow it. Return victorious or don’t return at all.”
