Being within the Webway was what greatly isolated them all from the fight that was outside. The only signs were as bad as they were was the ever growing flow of Daemons of all kinds coming in through the Webway in an attempt to kill the Omnissiah and his people.
The Daemons had tried a plethora of tricks and gimmicks to try and gain the advantage. Let it be trying to release the Scrap Code that had infected Mars or several dozen assassination attempts by the numerous lesser daemons forever attempted to knock them from their post.
The Omnissiah simply worked though. He worked as he had for what was many months worth of labor and soon to be centuries worth of it. He could keep up their forces but it was evident that whatever failures the defenders on the outside were experiencing would then in turn reflect in a greater number of Daemons infesting the Webway.
Essentially the investment of Chaos was becoming more and more worth while. They could see that the investment of Daemons into the Undying Legion of the Omnissiah was worth it for if they put that little bit more pressure he might crack.
What helped them the most though was the strength of the Titans and the unwavering loyalty of the Custodians. Each of them supported into perpetual status by the Omnissiah’s arts meant that none of them could outright be defeated. The only issue now was simply dealing with the states of failure whenever a Custodian fell to be retrieved or the Titans needed to fall back for repair.
He felt it then and there. A small pull of psychic energy that was alerting him to something on the horizon. While the Webway was nothing but a territorial game between immortal beings the battle upon Terra seems to have finally taken its drastic turn. Terra was severed from the rest of reality all while the fleets of Perturabo and Guilliman were almost finished in their approach to Terra.
A final gambit at the final hour was upon them. For this gambit the God of Mankind would call upon all his Warriors to drive the final stake into the arch enemy.
The Omnissiah would go to him, there was no question about that. But how should he bless his men before leaving for what would be the Final Hour of the current age?
