After being attacked by the mysterious and scary monster from the tunnel itself, you feel it's time to leave. You agree with Neil, though you don't want to leave totally empty handed.
You decide to take the monster's pipe- a rusted weapon that hopefully won't carry any pathogens it could be infected with. But you're careful, making sure to wrap up the shaft so you don't touch it directly. It's time to leave back to the storage room...
As you go, you notice something off about Sam. The small woman is staring off into space, totally silent. She's not joking or seeming excited like she was before investigating the strange tunnel. Even when she was its impossible geometry, she still was peppy. Now, she's staring off into space. She looks a bit shellshocked. You heard that when people experience traumatic events, the trauma is much worse if they don't have a chance to process it and work it out. She seemed so excited before, and now it looks like her worldview is crumbling. If she spent her whole life looking for the weird, supernatural, the dangerous- and then she finally found it and it wasn't what she was looking for... you could see how that would upset her.
<span class="mu-b">"...I knew it was there..."</span>
Plus, she almost seems to be blaming herself for the attack. You think that's a bit strange, it's not like it's her fault it came around the corner to attack you...
What should you do?
>Try to reassure her and ask her to come back
>Ask her what's wrong
>Use this chance to scare her away permanently
