“Done and done.” Gloria agreed, without any hesitation at all. “I’ll just need an accurate description of what they look like, and where I can expect to pick them up from. As for your supplies, I recommend making a list and giving it to Koa.”
“Y-yes, ma’am.” Koa said, his voice still a bit shaky.
The look she gave her subordinate was more sympathetic than you would’ve expected from the crime boss.
“Don’t crack up on me yet. I still need you.” she demanded in a tone that was somehow both stern and understanding.
Koa’s shock was understandable. “Robot Hawaiian Goddess Impersonator” was a new one, even for you!

Well, that was easy. You didn’t even have to tell her what you needed.
Some medical supplies, scuba gear and a crate full of explosives should put you in a much better position. You just hoped that the base wasn’t so far down that you’d need to worry about water pressure or getting the bends.
While everyone else was arguing about supplies they may or may not need, you turned to address Ana.
“Hey, Ana. I’m gonna need you to promise not to freak out and to try your absolute best not to take the head off of one of the people I’m calling in. You’ll know her when you see her.”
The blonde huntress cocked an eyebrow. “I’m afraid I’m going to need details before I commit to anything.”
You’d be lying if you said you weren’t looking forward to the Deep and Anastasia meeting for the first time. It’d either be hilarious, or horrifying. Either way, you needed them to get along. The Deep One was going to be invaluable in an underwater mission.
At least Glass and W would be more tame by comparison. This could be the infant clone’s first experience visiting a city and state other than the one she was raised in. And if Glass was as well-traveled as Callisto implied, then he might serve as a more than decent guide and chaperone for the two.
All you had to do was call Callisto and explain why you needed three of her Morlocks to hop on a flight to Las Vegas effective immediately.

Once preparations were well and truly underway, you found yourself with some free time away from your team for a bit. You didn’t feel like changing out of your costume, so you just walked around the hotel to explore for a little while. With hotel staff being informed of your cooperation with Gloria, no one bothered you at all, or even asked you to pay for food or drink when you hit up the casino for a bit.
It really was nice to have friends in high places.
Suddenly, the sound of a familiar voice drew your attention to one of the open hotel rooms. A closer look showed you that Araña was jumping up and down on a freshly made bed while Benga sat on the one beside it.
“This isn’t gonna work, B. We need to do something about this plan before-”
Benga quickly shushed her and turned to stare at you in the door. The girl had good senses.
