The trail is surrounded by a barbed-wire fence - with a third post you identified in your balloon flight.
The volcano is covered in forest, with trails going up to the stream and regular opening inside the caldera.
The goal is to get the more of the four of you inside for long enough to catch your target - you all have only one ball available.
