The first thing that Guilliman noticed was the sheer number of people who had come to see his arrival. He had heard of the spat and humiliation that his brothers previously had. The fear being that they would look down upon other Primarchs for dueling this sovereign. As he looked around a theory was formed that many of these people were not from Lucius itself but the Federation that his brother Forged. Looking around at the numerous skins and body types, Guilliman was more than willing to believe it.
Whatever bad thoughts might have been with Primarchs and Lucius, people still would not miss the chance to see one in person. Now Guilliman wondered if these people were looking at him like they would a foreign gladiator for their entertainment.
The Master of Macragge decided that doing nothing would bring more issues and began to wave at the people. He gave them the most charming smile which he knew caused many of the ladies who walked among the Senate to faint upon the mere sight of it. Knowing that its effects were going to be dampened by the presence of the hordes of people he brought forward its full might.
After about half a mile of travel the loudest horns that Gulliman had ever heard blared their might for him to hear. He did not let his surprise show, instead his eyes looked towards the Titans of Lucius, the Legio Astorum, to see their full glory brought out. This might have been seen as a scare tactic by his brother, which would be sound practical, but seeing as there were legions of people here cheering him, Guilliman assumed that was their form of greeting.
The further he walked the more he noticed the people changed. Here and there he began to see the Steel Dragon Astartes who were garrisoned to this planet keeping back the crowd. Among the crowd were a series of robed figures who almost all bore a red stripe which marked them as participants of the Reconquista. These Priests were joined by what Guilliman identified as Nobility and a series of small Titans which the Primarch learned to be Knights.
The Primarch has seen a few of them from Mars and the Auxilia. There was truth when the word ‘few’ was said as Guilliman only saw them one at a time. Seeing what he realized was fifty mechs here in addition to the Titan Legion, he realized the power his brother wielded. Again, as referenced before, Roboute knew this was used as an act of greeting and honor to the Primarch. So he accepted it as such.
As Guilliman came to a staircase the loud crackle of weapons fire could be heard from him, a series of blanks and low powered munitions that signified Guilliman’s ultimate arrival to his brother’s palace. Roboute finished waving to the crowd and began the walk to close in upon his brother.
