With those words exchanged the two of them went into a back room that was marked off from the standard barracks. Such a thing, while being odd in the earlier years, the times of the Proelitor have come where privacy of information was one of the greater needs.
TalOS looked around the room to see a great many trophies that were taken from battles. On one wall was a series of banners from fallen Empires that the Proelitor had participated in the destruction of. Of them, the one that caught TalOS’s eye was a banner of a skull with blood coming out of it like a fountain.
He gave his focus upon it for a moment, and suddenly any presence within the warp the token might have possessed was eaten by TalOS. The Primarch noted that the banner will need to be removed here soon under reasons unknown. He was glad that his sons were able to take down an enemy of mankind, but the article was one of those evil ones.
TalOS continued his looking around of the complex. Next to the series of banners was a plethora of weapons. These weapons however were not the weapons of the enemy but of the Acillian’s own making and those from fallen warriors. Underneath a great many of them were plaques holding the names of either their creators or the fallen, each of which TalOS was thankful to see.
This meant that there were traditions being formed within the Proelitor, and that they were healthy traditions as well. Remembrance and achievement. TalOS was pretty sure both came from the Astarte’s move to Luicus, as even the weapons of the fallen were not allowed to rest previously.
The eras have changed though and Lucius is wealthy. They can all take some resources for their own sanity.
The two of them sat down at a modest table with two mugs of booze between the two of them. The barrel, which they were drinking out of, was brought down from above by Vadar as TalOS was looking around the place.
Astartes and Primarch, both taking their drinks while sitting at the same table. Some never gain this chance, but TalOS had enough time to afford it just this once.
