>>5758191“She might still be pretty spooked by us.” You hold the Power Pole out, slowly starting to pace around him as he does the same.
“She also may not be alone for much longer.” 19 tells him, floating back a bit as she looks for another opening.
“We all may be running out of time.” Rozriz’s voice calls out from the shadows, her form hidden and even her Ki hard to sense.
He, for a brief moment, has an odd look on his face, glancing upward, before turning his attention back to you. “…Designations. Names. I know you, Geister, but the other two. Let me know them.”
“I am Number 19. I too was the creation of a mad scientist, one bent on conquest and revenge as much as his own twisted idea of progress.” the android girl tells him calmly. “I was given the chance to be my own person. I have moved beyond his intentions for me as a weapon, of my own free will.”
“I am Son Peppa. My mom and uncle were supposed failed experiments of a different, hate-filled mad scientist who dedicated not just his life but his unlife to carrying out revenge. They both chose to live their own lives rather than get back in with his good graces, and it’s made them some of the strongest people in the universe. I’m part of their legacy, just as I am a part of my dad’s, a supposed low-class reject among a race of warriors and conquerors that lived a life free from that baggage and found the path of a true warrior, testing the limits of his strength and striving to face the next big challenge.”
“Very well.” His aura surges again. “Number 19. Son Peppa. I am still not done testing my strength. But you have started to earn my respect.”
He moves like lightning at you, attempting a palm strike followed by a one-inch punch with one arm. You teleport above him and swing down with the Power Pole with one arm. He blocks it with the two Kanabo, but that’s when your aura flares a blazing red around you, your other arm with a large Ki drill revving up. You twist the wrist of the hand holding the Power Pole, catching Ashura-X off-guard as he looks up, and thrust down with the Ki drill. The attempt to block it with the war clubs fails as you break through them! And… to your slight surprise, the Kanabo explode, pushing you back and actually knocking him away from the sheer force of it all.
