>>5396003Enough philosophizing. It is dark out, and you will be trying your hand at this 'friendship' business that surface-dwellers seem so enamored with. Confidently, you strut over to the Dreaming Dragon, encountering a sign hanging on the front entrance which reads 'CLOSED FOR PRIVATE EVENT.' Regardless, you have come too far to be denied, and rap against the door.
Greeting you is Ilanis, as lively as the day you met her. Unprompted, she grabs you by the wrist and pulls you inside, slamming the door behind you. "Sindi, you're late! We've been waiting for you!" The girl points to the bar, which the exhausted High Ranger leans on while seated lazily on a stool. "See? I told you she would show up!"
"Ila, ye're the one what kept sayin' she forgot." Willow nods toward you. "Liar!" The girl retorts, dragging you halfway across the building. Before you even realize it, you are standing by the bar with an exotic fizzy drink in your hand. "I closed up early today, so it's just us girls. Woo woo!" Exclaims Ilanis, who sets down similar beverages for Willow and herself.
"Ain'tcha bit young fer the hard drinks, kiddo?" Asks the ranger, half-teasing. Ilanis puffs her cheeks and sticks her tongue out. "Shaddap! Ah'm uh full grown wummin, 'n' don't yoo ferget it!" She says, poking fun at Willow's accent. The two burst out in laughter before turning toward you. "So, Sindi? What's been going on with you?"
