>>5766131“GRANDPA!!” your first granddaughter immediately shouts as you arrive, blitzing towards you like a bullet. You don't even have time to lower your hand from your forehead as she slams into you like a golden missile, nearly knocking the wind out of you. “I MISSED YOU!”
“Keeeeh, missed you too kiddo.” you tell her with a wheeze, reaching down and ruffling the child's golden hair as she looks up at you, crimson eyes shining bright red.
“Hey Dad, glad you're alright.” he says, Meloka Wolbach looking from her father back to you, a confused look on her face.
“Did something bad happen?” she asks, you wondering how much to tell her of what happened. But as she looks up at you with eyes full of worry, you know exactly what to tell her. “Are you okay?”
“Okay? Nope, I'm dead.” you tell her, her eyes widening large as dinner plates. Seeing her face, you then switch, adding a joking tone to your voice. “Killed dead, can't you tell? Now I'm nothing but a spooky ghost, here to haunt you.”
She giggles at this, especially as you raise your free hand, wiggling your fingers.
“No you're not. Nothing can beat my grandpa!” she exclaims, then to your surprise turns, pointing her finger at a figure you don't recognize. “Not even mister demon lord slime, and he's super strong! He even ate Daddy's attack!”
“Ate?” you wonder aloud, turning to see who your daughter's pointing at, only to see a young-seeming man of slim build with long, pale blue hair shut his eyes, rubbing the back of his head in seeming embarrassment. Immediately your instincts warn you that he's bad news, a fact only further confirmed when you can't sense even a hint of his ki. What in the world is this guy? And why is this world he's taken as his own filled with so many strange beings?
