Give us a Cantôn love story, go on
The most famous example of this kind of love story popular in Cantôn folklore, and tale that even a non-Fallavon knight such as Sir Andrei would be familiar with, would be the ballad of Sir Bryce of the Oak and Lady Alison the Moonlit Maid (more commonly known as ‘the Oak and the Moonlit Maid’) which I will relay in a later update. Not quite Romeo and Juliet, but probably this setting’s equivalent.
But right now, a choice must be made. I am working late tomorrow, and the next day, so this somewhat important vote will remain open for quite a while. Hell, this may be the very last vote of the thread given the page we are on. You can be sure I’ll be tracking IDs on all votes, but continuing to link back to your original verification post does assist.

> The fair Mademoiselle Josephine Daubeny is pure, her smile must be protected. She is someone you could be happy with, someone you could raise a family with. Someone who needs love, and will love freely in turn. She has no need of riches or lofty titles, a quiet comfortable life on a plot of land with you in the service of your Father would be more than enough. So long as you were there. It is not simply that you care for her, your concern has grown beyond the platonic. You have begun to measure time in the days since you last saw her smile. The memory of her sad eyes lighting up, your quiet walk with her along the Pascae shore. Only in the presence of the Angel have you felt such peace. [Letter to Mademoiselle Josephine Daubeny]
>The cunning Lady Frida Vancewell is toxin and tonic both. Declaring your devotion to her is a bad idea. Terrible. But the heart wants what the heart wants. She is a forbidden fruit that you must taste again. While you can hardly fathom the depths of her ambition, the obstacles assailed between the two of you, the rivals you will crush in her name and she in yours, you know this is no mere passing fancy. You want her, wholly and completely, as you have wanted no other woman. You will not lead a quiet life should you win her hand, not by any stretch of the imagination. But it will certainly be an exciting one. [Letter to Young Lady Frida Vancewell]
>You carry their favours, but your heart is far from ready to make a decision between them or indeed to preclude the possibility of another interest emerging in the future. [Abstain]
>The temptations of the flesh are fleeting, but the glory of Heaven is eternal. You have been chosen by the Angel, to carry out the Almighty’s divine Will. You are His, and no others. All other earthly concerns must be set aside. [Chaste] + [Gain Zealous trait] + [Unlock modified His Heart Knows Only Virtue Code]
