It takes about five minutes with Zack manually controlling some of the production arms and swiftly thereafter, a collection of steel is super-heated, cut apart and a rough casing is made and then cooled before more liquid steel is poured into it to get the shape of the shield. You don’t really see what else happens besides a rattling noise as eventually the shield pops out with your house symbol engraved upon it.
“Used some off-colour materials, since we don’t really have any real paint.” Says as he commands the machines to start bringing up the shield towards the office’s opened window. “Best I am able to with what I have.”
“It’s fine enough.” You say taking hold of the shield. It is still hot to the touch as you grasp it so you have to carefully shift it using your fingers, but this is it. The start of something truly great. Granted you still haven’t really figured out exactly what makes nobility, what it entails and the like, but you are sure situations will pop up sooner or later and you’ll figure it out as you go.
“Thanks.” You remark looking over the shield as you begin walking back to your room. Celyn will be ecstatic. Though you now wonder where the hell you’ll put it, not like there’s a lot of place in your room, especially now that you have a second baby on the way.

Title: Nobility
Well, it’s official, put up the shield of my family before the front door. I am now a noble ruler. I can feel my blood turning bluer by the hour. In other news, Celyn is now saying that I need a palace. Though there’s no way we can afford one for now, but a bigger house would be nice, especially now when she’s due in a couple of months. Speaking of which, it seems like we will have another boy. So if nothing else, succession is secured. Though I am already being pressed for a name for the baby.
Signing off, David Hardrada.
