But Puki's Baba was right, you weren't doing it any real kindness by offering this gift, and neither was it truly appreciating every gift it received. You continued on the path and as the sun rose as high as it could, you decided to take a break and sit in the shade with your friends. You came across another party of Youthies heading where you came from and decided to share the shade, exchanging Memories and snacks you earned from your labors in the previous village. After thirty minutes of hanging out, the chunky fox appeared, waiting to be fed once again. A Youthie from the other party remarked how cute the fox was for being so fat and proceeded to offer it a whole ball of salted rice.
