Baby Face explains,
- Making people free and equal is what the Isonomy does. Some people believe that when technology was first given to us, it was meant to be free, available to everyone. They said that information wants to be free. Others said that the free technology was a trick. It was something called "commoditising the complements" or the Desert and Oasis strategy; what they did was create first an extremely valuable thing: imagine an Oasis in a Desert; but then to safeguard the valuable and profitable thing, you scorch away the profitability of all the products and markets near to it, by making them "free". This means nobody can ever take the oasis from you, because they cannot cross the Desert of the "free" that surrounds it. We think something like this led to the creation of the first hypercorporations... they created these Deserts and desolate wildernesses to fill people with a sense of Need. I don't think anything free really exists. To truly own a thing, you have to be able to destroy it; that was the meaning of the algorithm they called the Usufruct... Anyway, none of this really matters. Bellemek is what it is, and we hope other worlds will leave us alone.
