>>5574670>>5574675Good to hear you all enjoyed. Though I feel as If I would be remiss to ignore the elephant in the room in that the number of active players is wayyyy down.
Not that I need a huge playerbase to run I will write so long as there are those willing to read but I would be lying if I said I don't care about the number at all.
Though I think the reason the numbers are down fall entirely on me being slow to update people on my socials and more importantly, that it takes months to sometimes up to a year to for me to post.
That I think the way I run has something to do with it. Perhaps it's a bit too impersonal? Too much pre-writing and not enough in-thread madness.
I always pre-write stuff because I'm honestly terrified to write something stupid and ruin the narrative I've created but then I also have to realize, I'm just some dude posting Hunter X Hunter fiction on the internet.
For that reason, I want to revert somewhat back to my old style of pre-writing nothing and just improvising everything, back when things were less stiff and more open.
So here I'm going to make a promise (Extreme circumstances withholding of course) I'm going to try and pop a thread out every two weeks, frequency should revive the player base a little bit.
Though I put the questions to the players, what do you think? Do you think it would be better to possibly sacrifice the writing quality a little bit to produce more fun and quick threads or is the current style but with a few tweaks better?
