I grew up and attended a few years of primary school in Northern Ireland (Carrickfergus, hehe, yes it was the era of the IRA, there were lots of painted machine gun murals and barbed wire and armoured vehicles) but I was raised in England, I attended grammar school and lived around both the north and south, mostly the cathedral towns hehe. If you read my Galerne / The Sibyl quest, which I consider my best, it was sort of inspired by my memories of Ireland hehe (the Ulster legend of the two brothers who fought over who would conquer a realm, the first one who would touch the beach sand would be given claim to it; the winner drew his sword, severed his own hand and threw it on the beach, this was a tale told to me about the Red Hand Of Ulster at school).
The obvious screenshot to accompany this would be Peaky Blinders Fenians / Red Right Hand Nick Cave song etc. But instead, I choose this less well known film, titled '71. This is a well-made film about Belfast hehe. I really like those FN FALs (I guess British L1A1 SLR?) though the Arena Breakout extraction shooter player in me wants the cutdown SA58 OSW variant loadout lol, with uncontrollable ergonomics and recoil, impractical 7.62x51mm ammo weight lol just like in real life
