You approach the statue slowly, sizing it up with caution. Something about it unsettles you, specifically one of the more primal parts of you. The statue's glare almost feels like a hunter sizing up his prey, and you can feel the hairs on your arm standing up, bristling in response to that caution. You don't let it show on your face though, instead reaching out to gently run a hand along the stone. It feels like any other rock would, if a bit smoother than most due to the skill in which it was carved.
You focus deeper on the statue, concentrating your ki senses on it to try to detect any amount of life-force from it, yet you come up with nothing. And when you focus your equivalent magical senses upon it, you only catch the lingering wisps of Shenron's power on it, clearly having been used to restore the statue for whatever reason - if it truly was someone that was petrified, then any traces of the original spell to do so must have faded by now. And if it wasn't, then why would Shenron restore this with everyone else? Was it an oversight, since it looked so like someone real?
"Well...I don't know how true that legend is or not, but I definitely don't sense any amount of life coming from it. I mean, hey, even if the legend was true he could have just died from old age in there, right?" You suggest, stepping back from the statue and turning to Tento.
"It's possible? I'm no expert on curses, despite what happened in my youth. I wish I was, though - can you imagine the stories I'd be able to get if we could bring him back to life? He'd be able to tell us so much about the Age of Legends!" She exclaims excitedly, before sighing. "But I doubt it's possible. I mean, it's not guaranteed that the legend was real, after all. It could just be someone's artwork. Which is still pretty cool, but nowhere near as exciting." She admits.
"Well, I do know quite a few magicians, and I'm pretty practiced with magic myself even if I'm not trained in cursebreaking. We could try to see what miracles we can work like that. Or...well, I do have an in with the Otherworld, I could ask around for him or Olibu when I get there for you, if you'd like. Or, hell, maybe even see if anyone else from the Age of Legends is still kicking around in the afterlife." You suggest two possible paths. Judging from Tento's concerned yet shocked expression, she wans't really expecting that.
"You have an IN with the AFTERLIFE?" She asks in disbelief. You nod back at her. "...I was right to go back home all that time ago. You guys are all crazy." She says with an exasperated laugh. She shakes it off after a moment, with a literal shake of her head. "I'll let you decide what you want to do there. You'd know more than me on what you can manage, after all."
