Malcador thought to himself for a time, likely weighing the future outcomes and needs of the Imperium. For all TalOS knew, Malcador was looking into the future trying to find some fate that will befall the planet depending on their options. None of the options were good though as they needed to burn out the planet with the risk of destroying everything else there.
“We shall use the Mechanicum’s Automatons.” he finally declared with his search of foresight completed, “There are some there that we need to have recovered and I will have Custodians gather them. TalOS, you may release the weapons of the Ordo Reductor upon this planet.”
TalOS gave a nod as he heard those words, “They will think highly of you Malcador to place their Ordo above the Custodian Guard.”
“Let them think that. We need the planet intact so it may continue to be of use after cleansing.” Malcador finished as his vision returned to their display.
“Quintin, ride forth and eradicate these fools.” TalOS ordered the Null Lord with the tone of a born leader, “You will see the Ordo Reductor already in their positions when you get there. I have notified them of their duty.”
“I will tell the rest.” The Null said as he gave a bow to those in the room, “We thank you for this chance to prove ourselves, Lords! We will not let you down.”
“I know you will not.” Answered TalOS as he made a hand motion, “Now go.”
“Understood!” The Null announced before quickly running out of the room.
“It has been over ten years of planning for this moment.” Malcador said as he gave a small sigh and called over a service servitor, “Now we wait to see the results.”
“Then you cannot foresee the results, uncle?” TalOS asked as he grabbed a drink from the Servitor.
“I cannot, and seeing into the future is not where I focus my sight upon.” Answered Malcador as he took a drink of wine, “Whenever I look ahead I am always fearful that it leads to thoughts of prophecy. And Prophecy, well, it is not sound for the mind.”
TalOS gave a solemn nod to those words, “I cannot understand, not yet.”
Malcador looked upon TalOS with an inquisitive eye, but said nothing as they watched the first actions of what they created play out.
