Too all my dear customers and cute guys! Unfortunately the shop is closed due to a combined need for resource gathering and supply restocking. I'll be back in a couple of days with brand new artifacts, materials, and other goodies!
"Damn shame." You said, thinking about introducing Ponnamie to Aila. She might've been a good connection for your elf while she dealt with this stuff here.
"It's alright." Aila said, looking around at the quickly darkening alleyway. "Um, Master, since that bunnygirl isn't here can we leave?"
"Didn't Pompom day this was a secret hideout?" Bertha asked. "Why does it have a thingy on the door?"
"Who's Pompom?" Herta asked as she clinged to you.
"That bunny." Bertha responded. "You know, the one that sold us the magic carpet?"
"You mean Ponnamie." Ayane clarified.
"Yeah." Bertha nodded. "But that still doesn't answer why she just slapped it on the door if she's trying to be sneaky like Rubes."
"This place is rather secluded to begin with." Ayane began to speculate. "And if her customers are rather few and far between then it shouldn't be too shocking she would post this. Especially if she shall return in less than a few days."
"Um." Aila looked around again. "Master? How about I come back here to check the place and that rabbit girl at a later time. Can we please leave before it grows dark?"
That seemed like an acceptable compromise.
The last vestiges of twilight began to fall into night, and the moon began to show its face between smokestacks.
You found no sign of Mad Codger, despite asking around. The old man seemed to have vanished. And the tavern was closed for the day due to the owners needing to converse with the so-called 'Snake Eyes' gang, mournful drunks leaning against its walls.
Was there anything else you wanted to do while in the plaza?
>Yes. (Suggestions: Ask questions to adventurers and/or knights, look for Mad Codger, look into the tavern, have Yumi find out more about the lamia)
>No.
>(Write-in).

The next morning came too quickly. You rose out of bed with Herta soon following, downing another stamina potion.
One by one, the rest of your wives wake up after you. The morning was much the same; Bertha and Herta cooking as usual. But now Aila was an addition. Your elf had taken one of the guest rooms in the castle.
Despite how adorable Aila could be it felt a little empty without the rest of your wives causing chaos.
As you think about them and wonder how they were doing, you hear a knock on your window. Opening it, you find Eulia's face staring back at you.
"Letter for John Doe! Letter for John Doe!" She said, perching on the windowsill and taking out a note for you.
"Hey, you know if-"
"Sorrynotimeforflirting." She takes a breath "Gottagoseeya! Thank-you and good-bye!" And she flies away without another word.
In it was a telegram, made by none other than Ruby Rose after she successfully connected your radio tower with the official telegraph lines in Centria.
