As you trail behind her, you both head in the direction of the library. However, you notice that she takes a turn to a hallway you're not familiar with. You hesitate but eventually decide to keep following her.
Finally, Se-young stops in front of a metal door that leads to a janitorial room. You watch as she pulls out a set of keys and unlocks the door. Inside, you see cabinets and metal stairs leading downstairs. You're surprised to see those stairs there, as you know there's an elevator nearby that requires an access card.
Se-young Kim turns to you with a cold expression and says, "I'm not supposed to show anyone this, but I trust that you won't tell the teachers." She heads down the stairs and motions for you to follow. You hesitate for a moment, but you know that gaining her trust is important, so you follow her down the dark stairway.
You find yourself in what looks like an abandoned military bunker. The floor and walls are made of thick metal sheet plates, and the air is musty and damp. The space is dark, and you shiver at the thought of what might have happened here in the past.
Looking around, you see a few rusted lockers against the wall and a large metal door at the far end of the room. You can't help but ask Se-young what this place is. "Why is there a military bunker under the school?" you ask her.
Se-young shrugs. "I don't really know for sure. I think this school used to be a military facility a long time ago. But I'm not exactly sure what they did here. It's all just rumors, really."
You look around again, feeling a sense of unease. "This place is creepy," you say.
Se-young nods in agreement. "Yeah, it gives me the chills every time I come down here. But it's also kind of cool, you know? Like we're discovering a secret world that no one else knows about."
"Do you think there's anything else down here?" you ask her.
"I don't know," she replies, shrugging.
Se-young looks around nervously and says, "Honestly, I've never stayed for long around here. I'm afraid of getting caught. Feel daring? Want to take a look around?"
You hesitate for a moment, feeling even more scared in this dark and abandoned space. But you don't want to look like a coward in front your fellow student, so you steel yourself and reply, "Sure, let's take a look."
You open an unlocked door and find yourself in a room that appears to have been cleaned out entirely. There are no traces of what it may have been used for. As you turn to leave, you hear a high-pitched electronic sound in the distance, beeping rapidly.
Se-young looks at you, her eyes wide. "Enough exploration," she says firmly. "Let's get out of here." Without waiting for your response, she turns and begins to jog towards the stairs, eager to leave the bunker behind and return to the safety of the school's main building. You follow closely behind.
