There’s a brief, tense moment in the car as you all continue along the desert road toward the prison and veer into the exit. You see raiders milling about, presumably on patrol, but beyond a few looks they don’t seem to mind your presence or anything. Sure enough, your group keeps driving along and nothing happens as you drive parallel to the prison and even get a view of its white buildings from a few hundred meters out before heading down south and then west. As you drive past the prison toward uncharted territory it almost starts to feel like a boring desert drive as the road passes through a number of farms and agribusiness complexes.
“Alright, we’re going to take a left around Arlington by some church and continue until we hit a bunch of solar panels,” you tell the driver as you look over a map. “Then take a right, drive a bit, take a left, drive past some giant pools of stuff, take the next right, and just drive until we get to the reactors.”
“Uh, boss?” one of your guards starts. “Don’t you think they might find it suspicious some new guys are just driving around their nuclear plant?”
“Don’t worry about it. If we meet anyone we can just ask to see their leader right away and it’ll save us time.” You shrug.
You watch as the farmland gives way to a small village’s outskirts and then finally to a large field of solar panels and other electrical equipment. This definitely looks like the Electric Union’s home region...
