>>5960324>>5960325>>5960355>>5935916The "suicide" harness scene from the Mark Wahlberg film Shooter (2007) I once read an article claiming that the CIA intervened with the script writing of the Ben Stiller romantic comedy film Meet The Parents, where Robert DeNiro plays a surly retired ex CIA prospective father-in-law to Ben Stiller, the CIA intervened and wanted to remove all cinematic references to Guantanamo or enhanced interrogation torture scenes from the final script edit of that film. This interesting "self-assisted suicide" apparatus / torsion armature however made it onto cinema screens, so I can only assume the US intelligence community wished for mainstream audiences and cinemagoers to be familiar with it and approve of its depiction, deployment and use
