Ah. It seems they're set on it. No real purpose. Even I could tell that without it needing to be specified from the mouth of the Samurai. This man just had to die, that was all there was to it. If it came from the lips of the Primarch Minister, just do. No questions. He needs no reason to want someone dead.

The Ashigaru turned heel, and their guns were now trained on you.

My finger slid free of the cloak wrapped around my shoulders. I cast a Leven, striking the shield wielding Retainer with a bolt that circled his body.
[SAMURAI] "G-WHAHK-!"
His body trembled with a spasm, and his circuitry was certainly boiling under the impact that launched him back off his feet. The fellow Ashigaru stared back, awestruck at the magical attack. They could not have predicted it, and neither could the man, who went wide eyed.
[SAMURAI] "ENEMY!"
[SAMURAI] "IMMORTAL?!"

I couldn't agree more.
I grabbed the cloak around my shoulders, and cast it off. It was time to reveal myself, and come out of my shell. For all the time I'd spent out of the public conscious, I'd never truly been experiencing life and its struggles. Today, I started to live.
