You have to help her, you owe it to Jaina. If not for her actions, you would have no idea of The Singularity’s presence on this planet, let alone the incoming attack. And it is not like you are abandoning your friends; you have hours until The Singularity’s assault begins. You should have more than enough time to resolve the situation and return. Worst comes to worst, and you get delayed, there will be two gunships, each containing a platoon of highly trained and well-equipped commandos, three Padawans, Porro and non-lethal gas weapons. They will not need you against a horde of malnourished, desperate workers.
“Guys, I need to go.” You announce to the Jedi around you. Your deep voice travels through the quiet and anxious room, turning all eyes to you. “The local that helped us uncover this plot needs my help. I won’t be long or far, I’ll be back long before the showdown starts.”
Claire and Vila verbally display reservations at you splitting off from the group when the attack is to commence within a few hours. Conversely, Luke supports you in your decision; he agrees that we, as a collective, owe Jaina for the help she has given us. If not for her words, The Singularity would have likely stormed this place while you were unaware, without time to prepare and requisition the gunships as support. The conflict could very easily be in their favour. Porro gives you no reply throughout the exchange, completely uncaring as the events do not pertain to him.
You take one of the various speeders from the house’s garage and fly over the city, toward the coordinates attached to Jaina’s message. Arriving at the dock on the far side of the floating city, you park the vehicle in one of the expansive grids of parking lots. Large star ships touch down nearby as they descend from the heavens, unloading massive quantities of supplies in and out of the city. Sitting beside the docks is a hub of bulky hovertrains which attach each city to the others. They travel along beams of hard light that cut across the gaseous planet.
Leaving the spaceport, you walk with a quick gate towards the elevator with a fast gait, making sure not to be too late to provide help to Jaina whilst not running and creating an odd spectacle for the public. You take side alleys between residential blocks to decrease the time of your journey. You are not far from the elevator now, which will take you down to the undercity, to Jaina’s home. Entering a new alleyway, you see a figure obscured by the stretching shadows of the buildings that surround you. The figure is a small humanoid cloaked in midnight black robes; you feel something is very wrong, and the Force cries out danger. As you approach the unmoving figure, you spot pale flesh under the hood, two golden-brown eyes, raven black hair perfectly melding into her obsidian cowl, and the feminine face of a young woman you guess to be roughly fifteen years of age.
