>>5468739Rheiner watched with anticipation toward the battlefield as he waited for the bat-eared tanks to expose their flanks to him, only taking an eye off for a few seconds to look back at the surviving crew that managed to get out of that tank, and ordering them to go deeper into the forest ahead of them. He saw that only the platoon of T-16s exposed themselves to his flank, he grumbled to himself in annoyance that it was not a platoon of T-15s, little did he know he had the flank of a Tank-Ace in his sight.
"Come on... Come closer..." He said to himself as he tracked the T-16s with his turret, that is where one of the other commanders commented "Hey is that turret red?" A red turret? Hannes had to take a closer look. "You're right... Odd" Hannes replied, he then noticed the rockets that were sitting atop the turret, was that a deliberate design choice or something this platoon made for themselves? He wondered what 13mm fire would do to those rockets.
He only glanced briefly towards the artillery barrage that hammered the southern forest, he sneered when the T-8s managed to avoid the salvo reserved for them. No matter, he hopes his allies would take care of those.
After the T-16s fully exposed themselves to Hannes' platoon he gave a single command:
"Fire."
