>>5346416>We need all the weapons we can attain, we welcome any from the Ordo Reductor.>But...I sense much pain from within the human brain of that servitor. As I have seen much pain in many others. >[Initiate Talos Servitor Dogma Shift.exe]PROPOSAL:
#1 Is Servitorization unecessarily grimdark for no real reason?
#2 Can we cut out the parts of the brain that feel pain, fear, and grief before we lock them in?
#3 In recognition that often pain has been used as a combat stimulant to create aggression, can we replace this with something better? Machine Spirits are able to be roused to anger without any human component, so anger can be simulated without having to jab at some ones brain. We could replace negative input (pain) with positive input (stimulate the parts of the brain that register "Fulfillment" "Purpose" "Achievement")
I don't know if now is a good time or not, but given we have everyone here, and if QM thinks its quest appropriate and you guys believe in it, can we try to do one noble deed from Talos and change the purview of how the Admech and Imperium view servitors? Not as (always) a punishment, or a thing to be avoided, but at least in the Federation revered, honored, seen as a noble way to finish a living life of devotion to the Machine God with a second chance of service, to gain his favor and praise, and also to ensure the future generations.
One day, I would like to think people actively look forward to the day that they expire and become a servitor. To reward their children, and continue to serve, while honoring their ancestors who yet work hard in the factories. Think Dwarfen Ancestor worship.
