“I have a rough understanding of why you are here.” TalOS told the Fist as he recalled a series of conversations within his mind, “But I wish to hear from you directly.”
The Legion Master did not fluctuate in tone upon those questions from the previous ones spoken, “I owe a debt to Legion Master Vadar and your Legion. They had assisted us in the extermination of Orks in the Northern Reaches of Segmentum Solar. If they were not present many more of my brothers would be dead at this hour.”
“Then you are welcome for such service.” TalOS gave a subtle grin as he heard those words, “From what I had heard about my sons they wouldn’t have made valuable allies such as yourself. You did not need to force yourselves to come, even for the sake of honor.”
“I wish to keep our relationship between Legions active. The Second have proven themselves the most compatible without battle doctrines.”
“I see, well as I spoke before you will be receiving an Auxilia after the War is over. Do you believe you will need more?”
“If it is needed then I will request it.” Declared the Legion Master as he looked upon the siege before them, “If this is the Doctrine that I shall be expecting from that Auxilia then I will accept it. Our current inventory of arms experts does not contain those capable of destroying fortifications. As this is a problem, I wish to make sure it is resolved.”
TalOS focused on the man for a moment as if trying to measure him out. Those words held immense truth in them, TalOS could judge that easily enough, but there was more than maybe even the Marine realized.
Likely something to do with the compatibility. That the two simply worked well enough together that they organically fused at the hip. TalOS could only wonder what their Father would be like. It might be a few years but TalOS would hope that it does come sooner rather than later.
“If something does come up, alert me. Be prepared to arrive upon the Blackstone Fortress for the battle planning. As a Legion Master and participant in the Reconquest you have the right to be there.”
“Understood Primarch.” The Soldier responded while giving the aquila to TalOS.
