He slides in. “Sure thing Pepp, who’ll it be?”
“How abooooout…” Oh who are you even kidding? You know exactly who you’re gonna ask. The ones that inspired this whole thing in the first place! “Lime and Monty!”
With the figurative spotlight suddenly on them, the pair stumble over their words for a moment, before Minotia allows them a coherent thought to latch onto. “So how’s it been? You two might not take home the grand prize, but it’s been a fun time out here, ain’t it?”
“Honestly? Yeah. It’s been really nice to… well, just experience things like this.” Monty replies calmly. “I haven’t actually been able to go many places and just be… one of the crowd, so to speak. And it’s been a lot of fun partnering up with Lime.”
She blushes at that, then smiles. “It’s… been a lot of fun partnering with you too.” Lime then twirls a finger in her hair, her voice a bit lower when she adds, “…Wouldn’t mind doing it again some time.”
To which he definitely heard, and nonchalantly agreed, “That would be rather nice.”
Lime then started making embarrassed sputtering noises that you know were attempts at words, but failed to actually become them. Everyone gets either a friendly laugh or teasing “Ooooh!~” out of that.
And you couldn’t be happier. “Aww, well ain’t that sweet. And good news! That time might be sooner than you think! Because we’ll go over the prizes starting… now!”
“The team in first place will be given a grand prize of a season pass to Dream Land!” Cocoa announces, to the cheers of most everyone. “Buuuut that’s only the grand prize, given as a bonus. The other prizes will be given in in exchange for the points you’ve earned! 20 will get you two tickets to any attraction in Dream Land, 10 will get you two gift cards to a number of select restaurants in West City, and don’t forget about the packs of tangergreen cooler!”
“Sponsored by Hetap!~” you add in with a cheeky wink.
“A full list will be provided on the main screen when you’re all done.” Cocoa finishes up.
“And speaking of… once you’re all done, Dream Land will allow everyone free admission to whichever attraction you’d like, to everyone that signed up here!” You pump your fist into the air as everyone cheers. It’s not teeeechnically setting them up on dates, but it’ll work just as well!~
