“Not entirely sure, but they only seem to come for us when there’s more than one spider-themed meta in the same place.” Abel said. “Having all three of us in one place must’ve set them off somehow.”
You shoved your arm deep into a robot’s chest cavity and used an explosive mark to blast it apart. “How the hell are they tracking us?”
“Signal.” W said simply.
“What?”
Abel tore a robot’s head clean off and used it as a bludgeoning tool to smash another one to pieces. “The doc’s leading theory is that our spider sense resonates with a specific frequency or signal. The robots might be picking up on that signal and using it to track us.”
“We are experimenting with signal blockers for this very purpose.” Ana added, speaking for the first time since you met her tonight. “But everything we try seems to interfere with this ‘spider-sense’ of yours.”
So it messes with your spider sense, but it prevents these things from following you home? That’s a hell of a trade-off.
“Do all Americans converse this frequently during a hunt?” the older Kravinoff asked Ana.
“Perhaps it runs in the family, father.” she teased.

The rest of the fight went relatively quickly, since the last few robots made a full retreat once it was clear that they had no chance of winning. You fired a spider tracer at one of their backs in the hopes of finding out where they come from, and prayed that it wouldn’t leave your range before coming to a full stop.
The five of you now stood silently amidst a field of robot corpses, exchanging looks and waiting for someone else to make the first move. The man standing next to Ana was apparently her father. The same father that sent her on a mission to scope out a “potential threat”
You were guessing that that threat had been the Chameleon all along. But why did “potential threat” suddenly transform into “close friend of the family”. Had Ana lied to you, or was she simply unaware of the situation as a whole. Perhaps her father didn’t trust her to handle things by herself, and put her on standby until he could arrive.
“Awful lot of nervous energy floating around here.” Abe finally said.
Ana’s father turned to face your clone. “The two of you will be returning with us.” he demanded. “Your creator will likely have words for you when you arrive.”
What will you say/do?
>”I’m coming with you. These ‘signal blockers’ of yours are still working, right?”
>”Does anyone want to tell me why you guys are palling around with a dangerous and untrustworthy Russian spy?”
>They don't have to go anywhere they don't want to."
>”Wouldn’t it be smarter for all the spider people here to split up for the time being?”
>Introduce yourself to Ana’s father.(Write-in.)
>Pull someone aside to speak with them privately.(Ana/Abel/W/Kraven)
>Write-in.
