>Djinn: 16/120 HPThe Djinn slaps at Adeline twice, who blocks both attacks with her shield before sliding back to your side.
>Adeline: 43/53 HPOne of Alvin’s men plinks the Djinn with an arrow, doing negligible damage.

Djinn cannot attack, move or counter this turn.)You nearly stumble over as you lose your footing. Looking down, you find that the floor of the Keep has been replaced by sand, which is quickly pulling you down. You grunt as you struggle to free yourself, but to no avail. The rest of your companions are dealing with the same issue, each of them stuck in place. The corpses that had been littering the room are gravitating towards the center and starting to be sucked down below. The Djinn begins approaching you, looking pissed off and perhaps even a bit stronger than before. As it does, you catch something from the corner of your eyes.
“Hold on boss!” May exclaims. The thief had somehow managed to avoid the sands by using the corpses of the mages and assassins as stepping stones. She jumps from one corpse to another until she finally lands by your side and offers you a hand. You use the girl as leverage to release yourself from the grasp of the sand, allowing you to find your footing.
The Djinn sees this, but is seemingly unable to do anything to stop it, as all its attention has become focused on its Sand Trap. You begin to approach it with your axe when it bellows once more.
“HOLD! DO NOT SLAY ME! I AM A SPIRIT OF GREAT POWER! IF YOU LET ME LIVE, I WILL GRANT YOU GREAT TREASURES AND POWER! POWER TO STAND AGAINST EVEN XENOPHANES!”
You raise an eyebrow with amusement. Was this thing really trying to bargain with you?
