>>5253736The African Americans publish their annals, and send a copy of the book to each civilization. They also attempt to replicate Spartan technology with various materials, but the task proves much too difficult.

The genetic assimilation is successful, and the resulting offsprings are healthy and fertile. The hybrid have the body of a Silverfish in general shape, protected by a crab shell, covered with amorphous ganglia, and possessing the head and brain of an African American, and pincers of a crab.
The insects explore the sector west of the museum. Following a 10 kilometer long, twisting tunnel, they arrive in a museum of art. The exhibition includes the fading portrait of a man, signed Basil Hallward; the nauseating portrait of a dog-like creature, signed Richard Upton Pickman; the portrait of an undead necromancer, signed Godmachine; and the disturbing painting of a mountainous landscape, signed Nicholas Roerich. The path goes further to the west and then is abruptly stopped by a bottomless abyss of a hundred meters in diameter. The path continues on the other side.
Last, the insects develop Stone Age technology, copied from the humans.
<span class="mu-b">Epic Critical Event:</span> While exploring the museum of art, the Silverfish encounter a tribe of goblinoid creatures, that have thehead and fur of a hyena. Their tribe is named the Hyena Cabal
>>5252626, and they are ruled by the Den Mother. Those creatures are adept at political machinations, but very weak in combat, technology, and magic. The Den Mother pledges allegiciance to the Hive Queen.
