You wonder what Camelia got up to after she disappeared. You are near your half Oni co-worker so she is probably staying away, but you are still nervous nonetheless. Good thing you still have those pills, so at least you are safe asleep.
You say you feel a little sorry for Lulu, and hope one day she can have what you and Tamako have.
"Yeah... I wonder why they act that way. It looks like none of them enjoy the way things are but they keep doing it." Tamako says with some confusion.
"Some people won't change. Some people can't, even if it'll hurt them and their loved ones." Kamiko says sadly.
Your daughter seems a bit downed by this so you give the changeling a one-armed hug and half pat hal ruffle her hair. She tells you not unkindly to quit it, and crawls onto your lap. You ask her if she likes coming on missions.
"Uh, yeah. They are awesome." She states with an eye roll, "What about you?"
She then jabs your arm a few times, illiciting a wince of pain. You respond that
It's not like you have much of a choice. Technically you are still a captive. You aren't entirely sure of the consequences but you know it's either this or imprisonment of some kind (at best).
You ask Tamako what she wants to do when she gets home.
"Anime!"
You suggest maybe she could try mastering her changing abilities. It might be useful for the future.
"But anime..." She responds with a pout.
"Perhals you could do both?" Kamiko suggests, "While I exercise i listen to music. Do you think you could do the same, honey?"
"I think so!" Tamako says brightening up. "Can I do that, dad?"
You chuckle and say if it's possible then sure.
