It took roughly a minute to get around the city before they caught sight of the massive structure that was keeping the Xenos City protected. It was a spire-like structure that had throughout its crystals of various types. He could see running around underneath it a series of xenos all trying their damndest to either run away from or towards the structure. It struck him a little odd but the Prince did not have much care for them as he knew his target was before him.
A plaza, which surrounded the shield generation spire, began to vibrate as the ground began to rise. Fredric could barely believe the occulars as they told him the Xenos Guardians were coming out of the ground in stone cylinders.
Quickly the mechs began moving themselves out and getting their weapons ready. Fredric realized these were the Xenos' answer to the Knights that were under his banner.
Within seconds of the Xenos appearing the groups of Knights began to move against them. Castellans and other Dominus Class Knights. Their firepower was able enough to bring down two of their walkers in an instant but there were enough of them spawning from the ground to take pause.
Behind him Fredric could count twenty Knights and a few Armigers who were still around. Before them the Xenos were sporting the same amount of constructs by the time they were done rising out of the ground.
+Hold fast and fire weapons!+ Declared the Prince as he raised his Gatling Cannon and started firing into the enemy. Numerous strikes were made against the crystal like hull of the Xenos as they began to make their way forward.
A dark feeling cropped up from the back of his mind as he watched the psychic energies tendril around the crystalline structure. He had remembered seeing reports of such power from the enemy’s ships and it was becoming obvious they were using a similar method here.
It was then that the Xenos started their march forward. The facts became obvious and Fredric had to make the decision on whether he risked his honor in using a wall of Armigers to defend him, fall back to allow the Castellans more time to shoot, or go full tilt into the enemy with a rightout fury.
>Use the Armigers to take the brunt of the enemy’s first attack and then follow up with a charge.
>Fall back to allow the Dominus class Knights to fire their guns
>Charge full tilt into the enemy!
