The ship shook with what could only be described as a beastial roar as they arrived into the system. Seconds after their arrival into this system the vessel they rode upon was shaking with a devilish vibration. None of these vibrations were munitions hitting the ship, but every time the Void Shields sent a bullet into the Warp the generators would erupt in their cries of power.
The cruiser, Litany of Iron, shifted underneath their feet as it balked right to avoid the attack from an Orkish vessel. Those who rode it did not feel a thing, but that did not mean they were aware of it. None of them reacted to it though, staying in their shuttle awaiting the moment.
It was trying for UZ1 however. The thoughts of a Machine Spirit’s failure being the fact that destroyed her at this moment. In the Noosphere she could detect a series of failures from the nearby ships with damage on all sides. Still even with these ships taking damage dozens more ships were arriving into the system with the fury of the Machine God.
The Tech Priest took a breath and prayed. It was a simple thing to reach out to the Machine God and ask for Sanctuary. She was no fool though, knowing that it was trying its best to keep the rest of their fleet alive. Still, she was sure the Machine God would not mind her settling her mind with prayer.
Studying what was happening on the Noosphere was too much, she had realized, so the girl started to look around and study her troops.
Her ocular systems glazed upon the red armor of the Acillians and Astartes first and foremost. Following the declaration of their Father, TalOS’s sons had each striked their armor with highlights of red to declare their affiliation with the Crusade Force. Their armor differed in their make but both wore blackened armor making them look almost the same.
Odd, but it came with its own piece of humor. From what she had seen the two sides are having a minor difficulty merging. It was not for a lack of trying but they were admittedly two different races of man. They did not think the same at a genetic level so difficulties would occur.
They were still the Sons of TalOS however. They were all powerful individuals who will serve the Machine God and the Mechanicus with their lives. And in each of their cores they held the genetics of a wonderful man.
That barrier will be breached at some point. That much she knew. It was simply a question on when they would breach it and truly recognize each other as brothers. The girl could not help but feel they were almost there, ever since both sides began socializing over a test drink that TalOS was developing.
