She sports an apologetic look on her face. “Ahh…figures. I believe some of my friends may have come to check up on me.”
The door bursts open, knocked off its hinges, sending fragments of wood throughout you and Dorothea’s room. Standing at the entrance are three men, none of whom look particularly happy to see you. You recognize them quickly. Derrek, Byron, and Ronald. Corrine’s squad mates, under Hubert. Soldiers in the Flame Emperor’s Army.
“So…this is what the Commoner Dorms look like.” Derrek muses, spitting on the floor.
“Didn’t I tell you I’d be handling this?” Corrine asks them. “What are you doing?! I was just in the middle of converting Blair to our cause!”
“Don’t even try to hide it, you traitorous bitch.” Byron spits. “We heard everything you two said. Planning on betraying us, are you?”
“I’m disappointed in you, Corrine.” Says Ronald. “I wouldn’t expect this low born piece of trash to have any loyalty to Her Highness, but you are of noble blood. To turn your back on your duty…there can be only one fitting punishment.”
Derrek smirks. “Ever since the Battle of the Eagle and Lion, I’ve thought about what a grand feeling it would be to split that skull of yours in two, Blair. Did you truly think you could get away with humiliating me so? I’ll finally have my due justice.”
The three boys take a step into the room. In this crowded, confined space, it’ll be hard to fight at your fullest. Not only that, but you’ve packed up your spear and armor. Leaving you vulnerable, and with only your magic to rely on.
